Who We Are

Junior Chamber International

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a global non-governmental, non-profit youth organization founded in 1915 with the aim of developing active young leaders and empowering them to create positive change in their communities.

Today, the Organization is present in more than 100 countries worldwide, comprising over 200,000 active members between the ages of 18 and 40, distributed across more than 5,000 local organizations

JCI Syria

Junior Chamber International Syria was established in 2004 under the umbrella of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Syria as a youth economic committee.

Since its founding, it has been the leading organization in Syria for empowering youth in the fields of leadership and entrepreneurship, enabling them to keep pace with change through the implementation of developmental projects that drive positive impact within society.

JCI Syria includes 11 local organizations distributed across Syrian governorates, including:

Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Lattakia, Tartous, Sweida, Deir ez-Zor, and Idlib
